Premier Inn Dover East, Dover

My stay at the hotel had some highs and lows. The location was perfect for catching the Ferry to Dover, just minutes away from the Eastern Docks. The rooms were a bit cramped with the additional single beds, but they were clean and had convenient tea and coffee facilities. The service was decent, though not as friendly as I had experienced at other Premier Inns. Dining options were limited, and the nearby places weren't great. Overall, a mixed experience in terms of room comfort and service.

The hotel is conveniently located near Dover, making it easy to find and ideal for visiting the port or exploring the nearby castle. The room was spacious, but lacked air conditioning which made it slightly warm. The service was cheerful and accommodating, providing plenty of hot water for a refreshing shower after a long drive. Dining options were available at a nearby pub with good prices, and the facilities were satisfactory for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is meticulous about cleanliness and the hardworking team takes great pride in their work. However, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms and the inconvenient fan position can be a downside. Additionally, the absence of decaf coffee in the rooms may not suit everyone's preferences.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a lovely TV and plenty of channels, making it suitable for short stays despite the roadside location. The service was excellent, although there was a minor issue tracing my booking. The location is great for exploring the nearby castle and port, with convenient access to the ferry terminal. Dining options were available at the adjacent pub, though not up to usual standards. Overall, a satisfactory stay with friendly service and good value for money.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were modern and impeccably clean, providing a tidy and quiet base, but they were a bit chilly due to the location next to the A2 road. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, even offering an umbrella on a sleeting morning. The location, near the docks and Eurotunnel, was convenient for our needs but the traffic noise from the A2 main route was disruptive. The dining was good, and the facilities met expectations.
